Gain an intimate knowledge of all data processing and inversion practices used in the operations group.
Responsible for the Integration of new technology in terms of work flows and best practice in the operations group, the responsibility also extends to informing others of changes in practice, preparing seminars and training material.
Testing of new inversion technology on old and synthetic datasets.
Monitoring of data processing flows, and responsibility for updating ‘base flows’ to include innovations that are devised in the field – responsibility also extends to upkeep of ‘geophysical scrapbook’ a document used to communicate processing knowledge to guys on crew.
